Alexandra Filip (international pen name of Aleksandra Filipovic) is an author and satirist. She is the author of the popular and award-winning Seraphina Krin fantasy series, which currently includes Seraphina Krin and the Heart of the World and Seraphina Krin and the Last Griffin. She is also the author of the novels Noxie the Witch and the Missing Stars and Of Wings and Wonders, as well as the collection of aphorisms Rebellious Thoughts.

After winning the Radio Belgrade Award for Best Children’s Story in 2018 and writing stories for the iconic children’s radio program Good Morning, Children, broadcast by Radio Belgrade as part of Serbia’s national public broadcaster, RTS, she began focusing her literary work primarily on fiction for children and young readers.

Alexandra Filip writes books that speak across generations.

Her work is distinguished by imaginative, compelling storytelling, richly created worlds, and memorable characters. Her books appeal to children, young readers, and adults alike.

Her novels blend adventure, humor, wisdom, and emotional depth, while exploring themes of belonging, friendship, and inner strength that resonate with readers across generations. With a strong sense of pacing, narrative momentum, and visual storytelling, her work has significant potential for adaptation across film, television, animation, and other media.

Her books have been included in school reading programs through the Young Readers educational project, translated into multiple languages, adapted for radio, and published in literary magazines and anthologies. Alongside her fiction for children and young readers, she writes aphorisms and satire, for which she has received numerous awards and honors in Serbia and internationally.
